A year.

2015. Wow, what a year!

It was fun, terrifying, beautiful, ugly, sad, happy, and any other amazing description and it’s opposite, all tied into 365 days.

IMG_2105In short, I made close to 200 quilts, a handful of Christmas stockings,  a DIY t-shirt quilt book, and with my hubbys help- two beautiful identical twin girls that we’ll be welcoming this April! It’s certainly been a busy year- and I hope 2016 knows what it’s getting into … it’s got some mighty big shoes to fill, that’s for sure!

It’s hard to look back on this year and not think of all the wonderful *God Wink* moments we’ve had in business, in life, and in love. He’s been with us through every storm and every celebration. So many situations were planned out so perfectly- so there’s no denying God was behind it all, and also that He may be a tad OCD when it comes to perfection. We rode the waves of this beautiful life and thanked God for it ALL, the good and the not so good.

Going in to 2016 I’m preparing my mind and heart (as much as I can imagine) for all of the wonderful blessings God has for me and my family… I know that He will do everything He’s promised, fulfilling every dream and wish immeasurably more than we could ever think of.

My go-to verse for this very first day of 2016, is from Paul speaking in Philippians 3:13-14… “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

There’s no way I can ever forget all of the wonderful blessings and miracles God gave us in 2015, but I will keep my eyes focused on the promises and blessings of this New Year, and thank Him for each and every day of it! We are Alive. Grateful. Thankful. Blessed.

Wishing you the very best of this New Year.. health, happiness, and miracles all around!
